Take the Journey.

This rusty chocolate colored beauty is not as dark as most maduro cigars, but don’t fall for that trick. The leaf is aged, mature and has off the charts flavor depth. The construction alone is top notch. The pre-light aroma lends an abundance of cedar, with a dash of cinnamon throughout. The foot of the stick produces splashes of licorice and plum. The first few puffs will provide healthy doses of leather, married harmoniously with black cherry. Going further into this gift, the leather remains throughout and ends with stronger touches of black pepper.

This medium to full cigar immediately brings strong leather and cocoa notes before it is touched by a flame. Upon lighting, you will be treated to an extra sensory moment, enjoying complex levels of leather, black pepper, roasted coffee and cedar. It is spicy, without being hot. Heavy, without being overbearing and it provides a flavorful mix without going over the top. The 708 Habano delivers an even burn and easy draw throughout this marvelous cigar.

A velvety, light, peanut butter colored wrapper, expertly matched with a premium binder and filler tobacco to give you a nutty, buttery pre-light aroma. Upon lighting, the first puffs give the smoker pleasant notes of earth, tea and bread. The slightly sweet tip only enhanced the subtle notes found within this beauty. The halfway point yields pronounced notes of coffee, almond, and a hint of white pepper. A deep retro-hale released notes of freshly cut grass.

Three different tobaccos as the wrapper. The unlit aroma was muted aged tobacco. Very sweet with sugar left on the lips after each puff. Upper mild to medium in strength. A smooth pull with creamy, spices, graham cracker and cocoa notes developed.
